Community Outreach

His Therapy is very passionate about giving back to our community and following the Lord’s will for stewardship. Here are some of the organizations and non-profits that we support.

Rice Bowls

Rice Bowls partners with loving, grass-roots, Christian children’s homes in countries around the world to cover 100% of their delicious, locally sourced meals. The homes can then focus on loving, teaching, protecting, and providing for the children in their care. Plastic Rice Bowl coin banks are used to collect physical donations, but donations can also be made online. Rice Bowls is based in the Upstate and has raised tens of millions of dollars to alleviate world hunger. Please consider donating to help feed these kids during this global crisis!

Loaves & Fishes

Loaves & Fishes reduces hunger in Greenville County through rescuing food that would otherwise be wasted and delivers it to partner agencies for distribution to those in need. They serve as a vital conduit through which businesses can contribute to the community in a meaningful way and surplus food can be maximized. Their goal is to eliminate food insecurity among our neighbors by working to ensure no good food goes to waste.

Phil and Becky Davis – Global Partners

Phil and Becky teach at Asia Pacific Nazarene Theological Seminary (APNTS) in the Metro Manila area of the Philippines. APNTS provides a fully accredited master’s and doctoral level education in theology, Christian education, communication, missions, community development, and holistic child development, from a Wesleyan-holiness perspective. Students come from various denominations and countries throughout Asia, the Pacific, and around the world. The Davises’ purpose in ministry is to multiply their reach by equipping pastors, missionaries, and educators to minister in their own countries and in other places where Westerners are less effective. Their calling is to “equip his people for works of service” by using the gifts God has given them.

First Contact Addiction Ministries

We offer hope and help to anyone struggling with alcohol or drug addiction. Meeting each person on their journey, we find the right program or facility to help break those chains and set that person free. As a non-profit Christian organization, we charge no fee, but depend on the generous support of the community, churches, businesses, and individuals to meet our program and staff costs.

Operation Santa

The mission of Operation Santa SC Inc. is to provide the basic necessities to Greenville County Elementary School children who otherwise would not experience the joy of gifts during the holiday season.

Our mission is accomplished by working with Social Workers/Guidance Counselors within Greenville County Schools who identify children with a parent or guardian who is struggling with providing day to day basic necessities.

If you would like to participate in Operation Santa, visit their website (click the button below), or contact Kathy Sheppard at (864) 380-8551 .

Cops for Tots

Thirty-one years ago, one employee at Greer Police Department started the Cops for Tots Program as a way to help a small number of struggling families in the Greer area at Christmastime. The program was established to provide gifts for children who otherwise would have no gifts to open on Christmas day. Since that time, the program has grown exponentially and now helps hundreds of children each December. For the Greer Police Department, we take seriously the call to partner with our community and foster positive relationships between officers and children. We look forward each year to giving the gift of joy to our area children!

Greer Relief Toy Drive

The Greer Relief team’s goal is to provide a complete Christmas for our neighbors in need, so they have many presents under the tree. In turn, this prevents them from either spending their limited resources on gifts or going without anything. Many of the Christmas families only need help during Christmas. Their income is so tightly budgeted that there is not extra to splurge on gifts.
